Enter the picturesque landscape of the Langtang region through beautiful rhododendron and pine forests, high passes, lakes and quaint villages. In the background are snow-capped mountains adorned with unique biodiversity. Get ready to explore the wilderness as you traverse one of the less frequented regions of Nepal.
Our Langtang Gosaikunda and Helambu trek are located just 10 km north of Kathmandu Valley. It is the most accessible of all trekking areas in Nepal. Overall this trek is considered as a moderate trek but the alpine lake at Gosaikunda the 4610m high Lauribina Pass make this trek challenging. In this route from Kathmandu, our destination begins after a short trip to Sundarijal. The journey continues towards the Helambu Valley, which is famous for its historical heritage and the intact culture of Hyolmo people.
Witness stunning snow-capped mountains like Langtang Lirung, Yala Peak, Dorje Lakpa, and many more.
The trek will take you around the holy lake of Gosaikunda, a famous pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists. Gosaikunda Lake is a sacred lake worshiped by Hindus and Buddhists. Every year in the month of August, thousands of pilgrims come to take a bath in Gosaikunda lake. And from here we join the Langtang Valley Trek Trail to Sing Gompa and Thulo Syabru. We continue our journey towards the alpine Himalayan valley following the inner valley of the Langtang region. Entering the Langtang National Park, which is home to the endangered red panda and many animals and birds, one can see a variety of flora and fauna. Taste local yak cheese and see ice glaciers in the peripheral at Kyanjin Gompa. Encounter a panoramic view of the mountains from Kyanjin Ri/Tserko Ri.
