Day 01 :

Arrival in Kathmandu Airport

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will greet you at the arrival gate. They will be carrying a placard with your name on it, making it easy for you to identify them in the busy airport environment, and our representative will transfer you to the hotel without any hassle. There will be a briefing about the next day’s itinerary at 5:00 PM. this will be done by your lead tour guide, who will cover all the important aspects of the trip. Spend the night in Kathmandu.

Day 02 :

Full day Kathmandu Sightseeing

Full Day Kathmandu Tour will be organized on this day during which you will be exploring different UNESCO sites in Kathmandu. There are altogether 10 UNESCO sites in Nepal and you will find it amazing that seven UNESCO sites exist in Kathmandu Valley alone at mere radius of 20km distance.

Today, you will begin your tour with visit to Pashupatinath which is the most sacred Hindu temple of Nepal. You will witness Hindu cremation ceremony on the Aryaghat that is located at the edge of Bagmati River. Similarly, you will visit Nepal’s largest Buddhist stupa of Bouddhanath. You can see rich Tibetan culture in Bouddhanath.

Your next stop will be at Kathmandu Durbar square which is the ancient Royal Residence of Nepal. Kumari Ghar- the home of Living Goddess, Kasthamandap Temple, Kal Bhairav Statue and Hanuman Dhoka Museum are places of interest in Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Day 03 :

Visit Bhaktapur and drive to Nagarkot

Today you will drive to Bhaktapur, the medieval Newari city of Kathmandu where you can observe lifestyle in its primitive forms. Women can be seen weaving Haku Patasi (a black saree with red borders) while onion ropes can be seen hanging from the roof.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You have to pay a heritage site fee to enter this place. Then you will explore the courtyard of the ancient royal residence. The 2015 earthquake has also left its mark on this heritage site. Most of the temples have been partially or completely destroyed. You can still visit the Golden Gate, Pottery Square and Dattatreya Square. After the tour ends, you will drive to the famous hill station of Nagarkot where you will spend the night.

Day 04 :

Drive from Nagarkot to Bandipur

Bandipur exists 135 km far from Kathmandu. It lies in the midway between Kathmandu and Pokhara. Early in the morning, you will drive to Bandipur. Teendhara, Siddha Cave, Bandipur Bazaar, Khadga Devi Temple, Bindhebasini temple and Mahalaxmi Temple are attractions inside Bandipur. You will stay overnight in a hotel in Bandipur.

Day 05 :

Drive to Pokhara and explore

Leaving bandipur, you head for Pokhara which takes around 3 hrs of drive. Pokhara is a beautiful city offering close up views of Annapurna mountain ranges and other sightseeing attractions. You will visit Phewa Lake in the afternoon. Boating in Phewa Lake is the pleasant activity. You will row boats to Tal Barahi Temple that exists at the center of Phewa Lake. The reflection of Fishtail Mountain can be seen in this large lake.

Day 06 :

Full-Day Sightseeing of Pokhara

After wake up call, you will take 30 minutes of ride at dawn to reach the base of Sarangkot hill. After following the moderately steep route uphill, you will reach to the top. Sarangkot hill is popular for its best sunrise view over Annapurna from Pokhara. You can also get panoramic views of Pokhara valley, its lakes and surrounding mountains including Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and Manaslu from Sarangkot.

You will return to your hotel for breakfast and then participate in Full Day Sightseeing of Pokhara. You will begin the tour with visit to Davis Fall. Locally called Patale Chhago (meaning waterfall reaching to the abyss), this is the point where water from Pardi River drops down into the tunnel and vanishes underground.

Next, you will visit World peace pagoda which is locally known as Shanti Stupa. It is located at elevation of 1100m perched atop the Ananda Hill. Along with being located in serene surrounding, the place is also famous for its views of Annapurna Mountain and Phewa Lake. You will conclude the day tour with visit to International Mountain Museum.

Day 07 :

Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara

In the morning you can do some last minute shopping in Pokhara. Then, you drive to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu with a great view of the rivers on the highway, you will be transferred to the hotel, the rest of the time you can stretch your legs and relax with a cold beer at the hotel or you can do some souvenir shopping or explore by walking the streets of Thamel.

International Departure
