The Manaslu region, located in the northern part of Gorkha District in west-central Nepal, is one of the country’s most beautiful and adventurous trekking destinations. The Manaslu Circuit Trek takes trekkers through the Budhi Gandaki Valley, passing terraced fields, suspension bridges, waterfalls, and traditional villages such as Jagat, Deng, Namrung, Lho, Sama Gaun, and Samdo. Tsum Valley Area
Tsum Valley is a beautiful, peaceful, and culturally rich trekking destination in northern Gorkha District, near the Nepal–Tibet (China) border, within the greater Manaslu region. Known as a sacred Himalayan valley, it preserves ancient Buddhist traditions, Tibetan-influenced culture, traditional villages, monasteries, prayer flags, and mani walls. It is an excellent destination for travellers seeking natural beauty, cultural experiences, and peaceful trails away from crowded trekking routes.
The Tsum Valley Trek follows the Budhi Gandaki River before entering the valley, passing through forests, suspension bridges, terraced fields, stone-built villages, and dramatic mountain landscapes.
