The highlight of the Tilman Pass trek is the crossing of the Tilman Pass (5320m) which is one of the highest Himalayan passes, along with a visit to the world’s highest wetland five ponds. The passes and various points on the trek offer panoramic views of some of the highest mountain peaks like Langtang, Langsisa, Langtang Lirung, Naya Kanga, Yala Peak, Ganesh Himal, Gaurishankar, Dorje Lakpa and Shisha Pangma.
The trek touches two ultra-protected areas called Langtang National Park and Gaurishankar Conservation Area (GCA) which is home to a variety of flora and fauna including the endangered Red Panda, Himalayan Monal, Musk Deer, Snow Leopard, Himalayan Thar and Himalayan Black Bear.
In addition, the Tilman Pass trek offers a unique cultural experience of the mountain communities Tamang, Sherpa tribes.
