Day 01 :

Arrival in Kathmandu 1,350m/4,429ft.

We recommend that you schedule your arrival in Kathmandu in the morning or afternoon. This will give you enough time to relax and recover from jet lag before starting your adventure. Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel where you will be served welcome drinks. After you have freshened up, your trek guide will brief you about your trip in the lobby of your hotel in the evening.

Get familiar with your surroundings by taking a walk down the street. Visit to Thamel, the main tourist hub. Overnight at Kathmandu's in a Hotel.

Day 02 :

Sightseeing and Trek Preparation 1,350m/4,429ft.

Today, you will visit two world heritage sites recognized by UNESCO. Which, Boudhanath Stupa, a major Tibetan Buddhist center and one of the world’s largest stupa, and second, explore Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple complex by the Bagmati River, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Pashupatinath is one of the biggest temples in Nepal, and pilgrims from all over the world visit to pay respect and worship Lord Shiva. After the sightseeing tour, you’ll return to your hotel for some rest and free time. Later, around 3:00 PM, your lead guide will conduct a trek briefing at the hotel to help you prepare and plan for the journey ahead.

Day 03 :

Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding 2,800m/9,184ft. 3-4hrs

Depending on your flight time, you will depart from Kathmandu and begin your trek to Everest. The flight time from Kathmandu to Lukla takes approximately 45 minutes by helicopter. Upon arrival in Lukla, you will meet the crew, you will head up the Dudhkoshi Valley on a well-marked trail and then spend the night in Phakading Luxury Lodge.

Day 04 :

Trek from Phakding to Monjo 2,835m/9,298ft. 4hrs

After breakfast, from Phakding, your trek to Monjo, the gateway to Sagarmatha National Park. Following the trail along the Dudh Koshi River, you pass through beautiful pine forests and cross several suspension bridges. Along the way, you walk through charming villages such as Zapute, Toktok, Benkar, and Chumoa before reaching Monjo. Just beyond the village lies the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park, established to protect and preserve the fragile mountain ecosystem where you will stay in Luxury Lodge.

Day 05 :

Trek from Monjo to Namche Bazaar 3,440m/11,286ft. 4-5hrs

After breakfast, from Monjo, you officially enter Sagarmatha National Park. Descending briefly from the park entrance, you will cross a suspension bridge and continue toward the high Hillary Bridge at the base of the hill. After crossing this impressive bridge, the trail climbs steadily uphill to Namche Bazaar. Along the way, you’ll catch views of Thamserku, and if the weather is clear, you may also catch your first glimpse of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Kusum Khangkaru. Overnight at Luxury Lodge in Namche Bazaar.

Day 06 :

Explore Namche Bazaar 3,440m/11,286ft.

Today you stay in Namche for a second night to explore the area. Namche is a thriving village nestled in a large protected hollow. After breakfast, you’ll hike up to the Museum and the National Park area, and then spend time exploring the charming town of Namche.

Day 07 :

Trek to Hotel Everest View 3,880m/12,725ft. 3hrs

Leaving Namche, your will trek to Hotel Everest View. It takes 3 hours of slow hike to reach Hotel Everest View. Opened in 1971, the hotel offers a panoramic view of Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam and several other peaks right from the hotel. If you’d like, you can also take a short hike to the village of Khumjung later in the day and return to Hotel Everest View for overnight.

Day 08 :

Helicopter flight to Kathmandu 1,350m/4,412ft.

Wake up to beautiful views of the world’s highest mountains. After enjoying breakfast at one of the highest resorts in the world, a helicopter will pick you up and fly you to Lukla. You’ll have some time in Lukla to explore and watch planes take off and land. After few hour of break, you’ll fly back to Kathmandu by helicopter. Once in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the evening is free to relax.

Day 09 :

Departures or join optional activities

Your trip guide will escort you to the airport as per your flight time today. Please be ready to leave from the hotel 3 hours prior to your flight time. 1. How difficult is Everest comfort lodge trek?

The Everest comfort lodge trek is considered moderate to slightly challenging. Trails generally go above 3,500 meters and on a daily basis, you can expect to be walking for about 5 hours. Expect ups and downs as well, for there will be hills to climb as well and the well – a little bit up and a little bit down.

2. Do I need previous experience to take part?

No previous experience of trekking is required but you should be moderately fit and must enjoy walking and adaptable to high altitude conditions. Having a previous experience is definitely beneficial but it is not must to participate for this trip. All travellers need to be in good physical health in order to participate fully on this trip. We strongly advise you to prepare yourself for the trip at least 3 months prior to your trip date by doing regular exercises, going on hiking, running or gym. The fitter you are, the more enjoyable you will find the experience of trekking.

3. What is the best time of year to trek Everest Comfort?

The best time to trek Everest comfort lodge is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. These months have stable weather, clear skies, and moderate temperatures, making it ideal for trekking and enjoying the views.

4. Are meals included on the trek?

All meals are included during the trekking from Day 02 to Day 08 breakfast. Will provide three meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) during the trek, meals are offering a variety of Nepali and international dishes. Which you can enjoy authentic Nepalese food as well the more common international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian, etc.). Breakfast and Dinner will be served at the teahouse/lodge where you stay and Lunch will be along the way.

5. What are the accommodation arrangements?

In Kathmandu, you stay at Hotel Shankar or similar category. Located in the vibrant city centre, near shopping, dining and attractions, Hotel Shankar Kathmandu Hotel offers modern design, service and deluxe amenities. Where breakfast will be provided in the hotel and your accommodation will be on double / twin sharing basis, if you would like to have a single room, upon request you are required to pay single supplement price as stated in the trip costing.

On Trek:
During the trek, your accommodation will be in the Mountain Lodges of at Phakding, Monjo and Namche Bazar, and Hotel Everest View for last night. You will spend all nights on the trek at comfortable and luxury lodges that surpass anything. These luxurious hotels provide indulgent comfort, high-quality cuisine and a very warm Sherpa hospitality to weary trekkers.

6. What is the Typical day on trek

Daily wake up calls will be between 6.00 am to 7.00 am while on the trek. The wake-up time and breakfast time will be decided a night before during the briefing time. The timetable for each day will entirely depend on your walking duration for that particular day.

After a hearty breakfast, you will set off on the day’s walk. Before breakfast, you are required to pack your duffel bag as it will be loaded by the porter while you are having your breakfast. After 3/4 hours of walk, you will stop for lunch mid-day. The afternoon’s walk is generally shorter and you will usually arrive at your destination in time for afternoon tea.

7. Will I need travel insurance?

It’s mandatory and highly recommended to get travel insurance before embarking on any adventurous trips. We advise all our clients to get travel insurance that covers up emergency helicopter evacuation that may be needed in case of the occurrence of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) or any other reasons in high altitudes where there are no other means of transportation available. Medical expenses, Baggage lost, Delays and Cancellation, Death & Repatriation are also other important factors to include when purchasing your Insurance. It is advisable to review carefully the insurance and its coverages before making the final decision.

8. Will drinking water be provided?

Yes, we provide unlimited boiled water for drinking purposes on all our trekking. During meals time, you can ask the boys to fill the hot water for you. We recommend you bring at least 2 hot water bottles to make sure you have enough water during the walk. We strongly discourage the use of single-use plastic bottles such as mineral water on all our trips.

9. Will I have to carry my own stuff?

You will only carry your day pack carrying the essential items (Water, Cameras, Extra Fleece, Rain jacket, Sunscreen, Snacks, Valuable Items etc.) that you may need during the walk. Rest of your stuff will be carried by the porter. We provide 1 porter to every 2 participants.

10. What gears will I need?

Some essential items to pack for the Everest Comfort Trek include trekking boots, warm clothing layers, a good quality sleeping bag, a down jacket, a hat, gloves, sunglasses, a headlamp, sunscreen, a water bottle, and personal toiletries. It is best to pack light but ensure you have all the necessary gear.
