You stay 2 nights at Beding and Naa villages for acclimatization and exploration before moving further.
After a week of trekking allowing proper acclimatization, you arrive at Naa Gaon where you will spend two nights. Naa Goan is the last settlement of the Rolwaling region. you cross over the Tashi Lapcha Pass (5,755m/18,882ft) which links the Rolwaling region with the Khumbu region in 3 days from Naa Village. After crossing the Pass, you arrive at Thame and then continue to Namche Bazar the next day. Namche Bazar is the biggest settlement in the Everest region and is also known as the Sherpa capital.
From Namche, you trek down to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu. Moreever; In earlier days there were no teahouses/lodges in the Rolwaling region but now the locals have built teahouses/lodges in almost every place except for the 3 nights on this trek which is at the Tashi Lapcha Pass Area. Your choice of accommodation on this trek will be a mix of both teahouse/lodge and camping. For the 3 nights on the pass, it will be a fully camping trek.

17 Days Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Trek Itinerary
We recommend that you schedule your arrival in Kathmandu in the morning or afternoon. This will give you enough time to relax and recover from jet lag before starting your adventure. Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel where you will be served welcome drinks. After you have freshened up, your trek guide will brief you about your trip in the lobby of your hotel in the evening.
Get familiar with your surroundings by taking a walk down the street. Visit to Thamel, the main tourist hub. Overnight at Kathmandu's in a Hotel.

In the morning, you visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Boudhanath and Pashupatinath, as part of a guided sightseeing tour. The tour lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours. In the afternoon, you will be briefed about your upcoming adventure. If you have any doubts, check your equipment and visit the Swayambhunath Monkey Temple near your hotel. Spend the night in Kathmandu.

Today you Leaving Kathmandu, you will drive toward Chechet via Charikot. Located atop the hill, Charikot offers scenic views of Gaurishanker Mountain, Melungtse Mountain and other peaks and mountains. You will drive past rustic villages and town to reach Gongar Khola which is located near to Jagat village. Arriving Chechet you get ready for your trek to Simigaun, which takes 2 hrs of ascent.

Leaving your camp in Simigaon, you will head northeast and take a moderate climb through the green forest of blooming rhododendron and other alpine flowers. The path is scenic with views that stretch from Tama Koshi Valley to Rolwaling Valley. You will follow the normal route and follow the escalating path to Sambur Danda and kyalche. Crossing the wooden bridge, you will reach Dhonkhang where you will set your camp in the clearing area in the forest.

After breakfast, you will leave Dhongang and walk past the Rolwaling River. Crossing the river, you will follow the path that takes you to the forest on the northern side. Taking a slow climb, you will pass through the clearing area and arrive at the dispersed tea house in Nyimare. Moving further through farmland in Ramding, you will reach the Sherpa village of Beding which is located in a narrow gorge.

Beding is the largest settlement in the Rolwaling Region after Naa. Beding village boasts a century-old monastery, traditional sherpa houses, a school and etc. You will explore the village and also do an acclimatization hike to a nearby hill.

The path takes you to a bit higher altitude on this day where you will experience a cold climate. Leaving the Sherpa village of Beding, you will take a slow walk along the Rolwaling River for better acclimatization. You will be blessed with close-up views of surrounding mountains and peaks and awe-inspiring natural scenery. You will reach Naa in just 3 hrs. Naa used to be a temporary settlement used by locals for cattle grazing but now it has turned into the largest settlement area in Rolwaling Valley. From Naa village, the view of surrounding peaks is surreal and we can get a stunning view of Chobutse Peak (6689m) that rises above Tsho Rolpa.

Another day of acclimatization in Naa. This is done to allow your body to adapt well to the increasing altitude. Today you will do a hike to nearby hill with a goal of climb high sleep low.

There is no settlement after Naa until your traverse the pass and enter Thame valley. You will cross the pass at Chukima and reach the famous glacier lake of Tsho Rolpa. Following the trail through moraine valley, you will reach to the area near the sandy area that exists between Tsho Rolpa Lake and Trakarding glacier where you will stay overnight in a camp.

From Chukima, you will head towards Tolomban on this day. This is a short yet tiring walk as you need to follow the escalating trail for most of the day. The journey continues through the eroded valley where there is no trace of habitat. Experience the sheer wilderness of being in a distant land on this day.

You need to start your trek quite early in the morning before sunrise. Walking through the glacier, you will pass through a spur that allows easy access to the upper section of the glaciated region. You might need the use of ropes to climb Tashi Lapcha Pass. After 4hrs of strenuous climbing, you will reach to the top of Tashi Lapcha which rewards you with views of awe-inspiring sceneries. The summit is marked with cairn and prayer flags. You will lower down to the other side and walk along the glaciated pond to Tashi Phuk where you will stay overnight.

Leaving your campsite, you will head east over snow slopes. The trail lowers down to Thame River and then to Thengpo. The path is scenic with views of Ama Dablam, Makalu and other peaks and mountains that rise high above Thame River. You will pass along dispersed temporary settlement to Thengpo. Moving along pasture field, you will follow the trail to Thame.

Today is your last day crossing the Dudhkoshi River to Lukla. After a steep descent from Namche, there is only a gradual trek along the banks of the Dudhkoshi River left. En route, you will have lunch and make the final ascent to Lukla Airport. The rest of the day is free and you can relax in the warm sun and reflect on the emotional experiences you have had while crossing these vast mountains that have helped you rediscover yourself in ways you least expected. This is your last day in these majestic mountains. Later, you can celebrate your successful trek with your Sherpa guides and porters, whom you have come to know very well and have now become good friends. End this wonderful journey with joy

Typical day on during the Trek
Daily wake up calls will be between 6.00 am to 7.00 am while on the trek. The wake-up time and breakfast time will be decided a night before during the briefing time. The time table for each day will entirely depend on your walking duration for that particular day.
After breakfast, you set off on the day’s walk. Before breakfast, you are required to pack your duffel bag as it will be loaded by the porter while you are having your breakfast. Then you few hrs walkimg and you will stop for lunch mid-day. The afternoon’s walk is generally shorter and you’ll usually arrive at your destination in time for afternoon tea.
