The limited facilities and infrastructure mean trekkers must pack everything they need by themselves, adding to the backpack load. Likewise, the poor network and limited medical access add to the trek’s challenges due to its remote location. Additionally, due to the lack of accommodation facilities, trekkers must stay in a camp, which is dangerous due to the harsh weather and temperature, adding to the difficulty of the trip.
