Day 01 :

Arrival in Leh (3,500m)

Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to the hotel. Check in. For the rest of the day, expect to rest well and recover from jet lag. After you have refreshed, your tour guide will brief you about the itinerary in the evening at your hotel lobby. The rest of the day, either, walk to Leh Bazaar (Market) or Shanti Stupa.

Day 03 :

Leh to Lamayuru to Uletokpo (3,510m), 4-5hrs - drive

After breakfast, you drive to Lamayuru and en route visit Liker Monastery and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Check in camp at Uletekpo and enjoy your hot lunch. After lunch, you'll drive to visit the mesmerizing Moon landscapes and the Lamayuru monastery (oldest monastery in Ladakh). Overnight Camp at Uleetokpo.

Day 03 :

Uletokpo to Leh 3,520m/11,549f. 3hrs - drive

After breakfast, you leave for Leh and en route visit Alchi, Likir Monastery, and Magnetic Hill. Upon arrival in Leh, visit Leh Palace and then transfer to your hotel in the evening. Overnight in Leh.

Day 04 :

Leh to Pangong Lake (4,420m), 4-5hrs - drive

Drive to Pangong Lake at 14,500ft, and through Changla Pass at 17,350ft. Pangong Lake is a spectacular lake which is surrounded by colorful mountains. The views reflected on the lake are simply mesmerizing. The color of the lake keeps changing throughout the day. Overnight Camp at Pongong Lake.

Day 05 :

Pangong Lake to Leh (3500m), 4-5hrs - drive

You take your breakfast in camp and then drive back to Leh. En route, you visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Overnight Hotel in Leh.

Day 06 :

Leh to Nubra Valley (5,578m), 4-5hrs - drive

You drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla, highest drivable road in the world at 18,380ft. Arrive at Deskit by afternoon. For the rest of the day, you are free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. Overnight Camp at Nubra.

Day 07 :

Nubra Valley to Leh (3500m), 4-5hrs - drive

Today, after breakfast, you visit Deskit Monastery and drive back to Leh by the same route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Upon arrival at Leh, you visit Hemis Monastery. Overnight in Leh.

Day 08 :

Transfer to Leh airport to fly to Delhi

Your trip to Ladakh and Leh comes to an end today. A representative from AlpineTrav will take you to the airport for your flight to Delhi.

Since the tour is designed on a twin-sharing basis, you will be shared a room. If you prefer a single room, it can also be arranged by paying as a single supplement.
