The Ladakh Tour with Lamayuru monastery (oldest monastery in Ladakh) starts. From Leh, you’ll make a detour to Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake. The tour ends with drive from Pangong to Leh again, from where you will travel to your onward destination.

Day 01 :

Arrival - Leh 3,520m/11,549ft and Acclimatization

Arrive in Leh and check in to the hotel. You are advised to take complete rest throughout the day to acclimatize yourself to the new environment at an altitude of 11,135 feet. In the evening make hike to Shanti Stupa (World Peace Pagoda). This hike not only offers beautiful views of the Stok Kangri range and the Indus Valley, but it also helps your body adjust to the altitude. Overnight at Leh.

Day 2 :

In Leh sightseeing tour - 3,520m/11,549ft

Your second day in Ladakh will be spent in Leh on this day, you enjoy a tour of the beautiful city and its surroundings. Where, you will Leh Durbar which was built in the 17th century. Leh Durbar was the residence of the royal family, which is now converted into a museum, here you can get information about the Ladakhi royal history. The palace sits atop a hill and offers a spectacular bird’s eye view of the city. Moreover; you will visit to the Shankar Gompa (Monastery), and experience the local way of life at Leh market. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of Leh while taking in the spiritual essence of this mesmerizing place.

Day 3 :

Leh to Lamayuru to Uletokpo 3,510m/11,516ft

After breakfast, you'll drive to Lamayuru and en route visit Liker Monastery and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Check in camp at Uletekpo and enjoy your hot lunch. After lunch, you drive to visit the mesmerizing Moon landscapes and the Lamayuru monastery (oldest monastery in Ladakh). Overnight Camp at Uleetokpo.

Day 4 :

Uletokpo to Leh 3,520m/11,549f

After breakfast, you leave for Leh and en route visit Alchi, Likir Monastery, and Magnetic Hill. Upon arrival in Leh, visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace and then transfer to your hotel in the evening. Overnight in Leh.

Day 5 :

Leh to Nubra Valley 3,160m/10,367ft via Khardungla 5,578m/18,301ft

You will drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla, highest drivable road in the world at 18,380ft. Arrive at Deskit by afternoon. For the rest of the day, you are free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. Overnight Camp at Nubra.

Day 6 :

Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake 4,420m/14,502ft

After breakfast, you will head towards Diskit Monastery before starting your journey to Pangong Lake. Diskit Monastery is a popular tourist destination in the Nubra Valley, located on a hill on the side of the road connecting Parthapur and them. It is one of the oldest and largest monasteries in the valley and is famous for the 106 feet / 32 meters tall Maitreya Buddha statue located next to it, after which you will head towards Pangong Lake. The journey takes about 5-6 hours and takes you through beautiful mountain roads. Once you'll reach there, you will check in to the hotel and proceed to admire the beautiful Pangong Tso surrounded by mountains. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ladakh, known for its magnificent turquoise blue waters. Overnight at Guest house.

Day 7 :

Pangong Lake to Leh 3,520m/11,549ft

Starting the day with a beautiful sunrise, today it is time to return to Leh. After your warm and delicious breakfast, you will bid farewell to the lake and its surroundings and start your journey back to Leh. Your drive will cross the 5360m Chang La Pass, where you will stop for a short break to visit the Chang La Baba Temple and Chana La Cafe. Then you will make your second stop at the famous Hemis Monastery. Built in 1630, Hemis Monastery is the largest and most prosperous monastery in Ladakh, representing the Drukpa lineage of Buddhism. Visit the Gompa (Monastery) and proceed to Leh. Upon reaching Leh, check-in to the hotel and relax. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
