Nepal Temple and Jungle Safari Tour

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal. Upon completing the visa formalities and collecting your luggages in the airport, kindly proceed to the exit of the arrival hall. Your trip leader will await you just outside the arrival hall and will escort you to your hotel in Kathmandu. We recommend that you schedule your arrival in Kathmandu in the morning or during the day. This will give you enough time to relax and recover from jet lag before starting your adventure. There will be a trip briefing later at 5:00 pm. And it will be done by your lead guide, covering all the important aspects of the trip. Spend the night in Kathmandu.

Full Day Kathmandu Tour will be organized on this day during which you will be exploring different UNESCO sites in Kathmandu. There are altogether 10 UNESCO sites in Nepal and you will find it amazing that seven UNESCO sites exist in Kathmandu Valley alone at mere radius of 20km distance. You will begin your tour with visit to Pashupatinath which is the most sacred Hindu temple of Nepal. You will witness Hindu cremation ceremony on the Aryaghat that is located at the edge of Bagmati River. You will visit Nepal’s largest Buddhist stupa of Bouddhanath. You can see rich Tibetan culture in Bouddhanath. Our next stop will be at Kathmandu Durbar square which is the ancient Royal Residence of Nepal. Kumari Ghar- the home of Living Goddess, Kasthamandap Temple, Kal Bhairav Statue and Hanuman Dhoka Museum are places of interest in Kathmandu Durbar Square. We will take leisure walk in the tourist hub and ultimate shopping destination of Thamel via notoriously busiest Ason market before returning back to hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast, today you will head towards the medieval Newar town of Bhaktapur where you can observe life in its primitive forms. Women can be seen weaving Haku Patasi (a black saree with red border) while a string of onions can be seen hanging from the roof. Chillies are left to be dried up on the road. Bhaktapur Durbar Square has been enlisted as UNESCO Heritage site. You need to pay Heritage site fee to enter the place. You will explore the courtyards of the ancient Royal Residence. The earthquake of 2015 has left its traces in this heritage site as well. Much of the temples have been partially or completely destroyed. You can still visit Golden Gate, Pottery Square and Dattatreya Square. After the completion of tour, you will drive to Changunarayan temple, and then Nagarkot, a famous hill station where you will stay overnight.

Bandipur exists 135 km far from Kathmandu. It lies in the midway between Kathmandu and Pokhara. Early in the morning, we will drive to Bandipur. Teendhara, Siddha Cave, Bandipur Bazaar, Khadga Devi Temple, Bindhebasini temple and Mahalaxmi Temple are attractions inside Bandipur. You will stay overnight in a hotel in Bandipur.

Leaving bandipur, you head for Pokhara which takes around 4 hrs of drive. Pokhara is a beautiful city offering close up views of Annapurna mountain ranges and other sightseeing attractions. You will visit Phewa Lake in the afternoon. Boating in Phewa Lake is the pleasant activity. You will row boats to Tal Barahi Temple that exists at the center of Phewa Lake. The reflection of Fishtail Mountain can be seen in this large lake.

After wake up call, you will take 30minutes of ride at dawn to reach the base of Sarangkot hill. After following the moderately steep route uphill, you will reach to the top. Sarangkot hill is popular for its best sunrise view over Annapurna from Pokhara. You can also get panoramic views of Pokhara valley, its lakes and surrounding mountains including Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and Manaslu from Sarangkot. You will return to hotel for breakfast and then participate in Full Day Sightseeing of Pokhara. You will begin the tour with visit to Davis Fall. Locally called Patale Chhago (meaning waterfall reaching to the abyss), this is the point where water from Pardi River drops down into the tunnel and vanishes underground. Next, you will visit World peace pagoda which is locally known as Shanti Stupa. It is located at elevation of 1100m perched atop the Ananda Hill. Along with being located in serene surrounding, the place is also famous for its views of Annapurna Mountain and Phewa Lake. You will conclude the day tour with visit to International Mountain Museum.

Our next destination is Chitwan, home of the jungle. You will leave Pokhara and take 3hrs of ride from Pokhara to Chitwan. You will leave East West Highway at Narayanghat and take another 30minutes of drive to reach Chitwan National Park. Which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon reaching Chitwan, you'll enjoy Rapti river cruise and float down the picturesque Rapti River enjoying beautiful views of Himalayan foothills and spot Gharials,birdlife and rhinoceros. Enjoy the beautiful sundowner at the conjuring of Narayani and Rapti river. In the evening, along with a Tharu’s tradintional dance. Overnight in Chitwan.

Early in the morning, you will be mounted on elephants for a jungle safari through dense grasslands to witness wildlife in its natural habitat. After breakfast, you'll visit the elephant stables and even enjoy bathing the elephants. During the afternoon you can drive through the jungles followed by a canoe ride down the Rapti River. While canoeing, you may get a close look at the Gharial and Mugger crocodiles along with fresh water dolphins, otters and varieties of water birds.Or,you may even go for bird watching or nature walks and come closer to a variety of wild flora and fauna found in the park. This park is rich in floras and faunas. The park provides shelter to 43 species of mammals, 45 species of amphibians and 500 species of birds. Overnight in Chitwan.

Early in the morning, you'll spend your time bird-watching as Chitwan National Park is also home to a large variety of resident and migratory birds. You'll then have breakfast and drive towards Kathmandu. You'll reach there by evening and enjoy our farewell dinner to celebrate a successful end of your trip in Nepal.
