IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS
Fitness: A good level of fitness and previous experience with mountain walking are essential. Training with aerobic exercises and hill walking with a pack is recommended.
Altitude Sickness: Risk of altitude sickness is high, especially above 2,500 meters. It is crucial to follow an itinerary with acclimatization rest days.
Terrain: The trek involves steep climbs, wilderness paths, and potentially difficult sections on the pass that may require using a fixed rope.
Best Time to Go: The best seasons are spring (April to May) and autumn (September to November), offering moderate temperatures and stable weather. However, summer and winter are also possible with proper preparation.
